The facility is designed to sit along side existing banking and funding facilities, offering additional credit lines to help fund disbursements and WIP. EB Commercial Finance are contracted to the bank to help administer the draw down and repayment of the disbursements. Accordingly, these controls give the bank the comfort and security needed to advance on a case-by-case basis, ensuring continuity of funds as the practice continues to grow.
Your existing portfolio of cases can be funded from day one and new cases added up to your agreed credit limits. As the caseload grows these credit limits can be reviewed so as to ensure that available funds meet your requirements.
Key Features
- Operates along side and in addition to existing finance and banking programmes
- Available for all cases including RTA, Slip & Trip, Employers Liability, Clinical Negligence and Industrial Disease
- Allowable disbursements include medical reports, medical records, expert witness statements, police reports and court fees
- WIP funding for PI cases allowable up to agreed limits
- Interest charged on a daily overdraft basis
- Existing live cases can be drawn down from day one
Block Funding - Disbursement Funding
If your requirement is for disbursement funding that is less rigid and allows for drawn down on a non-case specific basis, EB Commercial Finance has access to funders who provide unsecured term loans, repayable over one to five years for the purpose of funding disbursements or work in progress.
The interest rate is fixed for the period and the term loans can be drawn down in one go, or in significant chunks. The loans can be regulated for partnerships and as such the only penalty for early repayment is one month’s worth of interest.
